This course provides a foundational understanding of embedded systems, covering their design, programming, and applications. You will learn about the hardware architecture of microcontrollers, working principles of sensors and actuators, communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C) and operating systems for embedded systems. Hands-on labs involve designing the interfacing circuits of microcontrollers and their peripherals, programming and debugging embedded firmware, and construction of complete mechatronic systems. By the end, you will gain practical skills to develop embedded solutions for real world applications.
