1. This course introduces satellite technologies and space mission design at a fundamental level. This course will introduce the topic of spacecraft mission design and the principles governing the design process to achieve mission success to engineering students. 2. Students who are interested in space system, not only the flight segments, but also space application such as communication, imaging, navigation, information, etc., should take the course. 3. The Satellite Research Centre is starting a student CubeSat project in 2023/2024 with expected launch by end of 2025. Selected students from the course may have an opportunity to work on a real space mission. The students who want to work in the space sector will gain the comprehensive knowledge on the satellite technology.
