This course aims to introduce normative ethics and metaethics to students. In addition, it encourages students to respond critically to articles and videos that make use of the concepts of normative ethics and metaethics and to become ethically reflective and responsible global citizens. Last but not least, this course encourages students to consider the benefits of a civic education, the welfare of the community or commonweal, and the ethical implications of being civic-minded.
