This hands-on course aims to equip students with some of the basic skills and knowledge in two areas: one, effective on-air presentation and performance, and two, indirecting presenters and performers. The course will focus mainly on the "factual" genres in television and video productions such as broadcast journalism documentary talk show and interview programmes. Students are encouraged to develop their own styles and personae, insofar as it is appropriate for the programmes in question.
