Understanding kinetics of protein-ligand binding is significantly important for clarifying molecular mechanism behind protein function. This course aims to enhance students' understanding on the basic biochemical and biophysical knowledge related to protein-ligand interaction through practice. Specifically, students will learn the basic principle and operation of Biolayer Interferometry (BLI), which has been widely used in basic research and pharmaceutical industry. The students will not only gain deep understanding on protein-ligand binding reaction,but also be equipped with an important research skill.
