This course provides an overview of supporting children and adolescents with special needs in mainstream schools. Participants will acquire knowledge of the practical application of an assessment framework for the support of these students. During the course, participants will also develop an understanding of assessments and its role in making instructional decisions. With data obtained from both direct and indirect assessments, participants can better identify the strengths and needs of students with special needs to design interventions across a range of academic and social behaviours.
